Price Increases
Price increases are an inevitable part of professional services.
To keep pace with inflation and ensure we retain talent, it is best to expect a 3% increase each year for the same services. We implement these increases with your fiscal year to make it easier to set and meet your organization’s budget. Changes in scope or requests for out-of-scope work may result in price changes more frequently.
We understand that it can be confusing when a firm makes changes in their prices without a change in the scope of work. As with any organization, pricing is largely determined by what it costs to deliver the organization’s services (which isn’t directly proportional to the scope of work). In a remote firm like ours, market conditions around the cost to acquire, retain and develop talent are the primary driving force. As fewer people have chosen a career in accounting, the market for talent has become more competitive.
Our staff compensation philosophy is based on the belief that our people are a worthwhile investment. When our team’s financial needs are met, they will be free to provide the highest level of service to every client – which means the biggest impact we can make for the churches we serve. Our investment in them is an investment in you.
If you have any concerns about pricing, please reach out to discuss it with us. We’re always happen to brainstorm solutions.
