Follow-up and Catch-up Fees

Our work with clients is a collaborative effort requiring both parties to engagement in regular communication. Similar to healthcare providers, we schedule time on our calendar like an appointment to do your work. Receiving timely access to accounts, documents, approvals or answers allows us to avoid starting/stopping work unnecessarily, following up for missing information, reorganizing our planned capacity or reconstructing what changed during a gap.

Follow-up Fee: If we must manually request the same information multiple times without response, we may charge a $100 follow-up fee (we will notify you before applying it and provide a deadline to avoid the fee). This does not apply to the automated reminders via our task system, Karbon. To avoid this, please communicate when you can reasonably provide the information so we can reschedule pending work.

Catch-up Fee: If delays cause your work to fall behind, any catch-up work needed to bring your accounts current is billed at $75/hour to cover the rescheduled time.

Extended non-responsiveness may result in a pause of services and, if unresolved, potential disengagement.
